MSK Martial Arts – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all members, parents/guardians, and participants of MSK Martial Arts (“MSK”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By enrolling yourself or your child at MSK, you agree to abide by these Terms.
1. Membership and Fees
1.1 Membership fees are payable monthly in advance.
1.2 Memberships are non-transferable.
1.3 We reserve the right to review and adjust membership fees with at least 30 days’ notice.
1.4 Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of membership.
2. Classes and Attendance
2.1 Members should arrive on time and in suitable attire (Gi, uniform, or MSK-approved clothing).
2.2 We reserve the right to alter class times, locations, or instructors where necessary.
2.3 Missed classes are non-refundable and cannot normally be carried forward.
3. Health, Safety, and Conduct
3.1 Martial arts involve physical activity and contact. All members train at their own risk.
3.2 Members must disclose any relevant medical conditions before training.
3.3 Appropriate protective equipment must be worn when required.
3.4 Respectful behaviour is expected at all times towards instructors, other members, and facilities. Bullying, aggression, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
4. Parents and Guardians
4.1 Parents/guardians are responsible for their children before and after class times.
4.2 Children must not be left unattended outside of scheduled class times.
4.3 Parents/guardians are expected to support the club’s values of respect, discipline, and inclusivity.
5. Safeguarding
5.1 MSK follows safeguarding procedures in line with UK law.
5.2 Any concerns should be raised with the designated safeguarding officer.
5.3 Photography or filming in class is only permitted with prior consent from MSK staff.
6. Liability
6.1 MSK and its instructors are not liable for injuries sustained during training, except where caused by negligence.
6.2 Members are advised to have personal accident insurance.
6.3 MSK is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.
7. Cancellation and Termination
7.1 Membership may be cancelled by giving one full calendar month’s written notice.
7.2 MSK reserves the right to terminate membership for non-payment, misconduct, or breach of these Terms.
8. Data Protection
8.1 Personal data will be collected, stored, and used in line with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
8.2 Data will only be used for club administration, communication, and safeguarding purposes.
8.3 Members have the right to request access to their data.
9. Code of Conduct
· Show respect to instructors and fellow students.
· Follow instructions promptly and safely.
· Train with self-control and discipline.
· Help create a welcoming and family-friendly environment.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

By attending classes at MSK Martial Arts, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
